WHAT WE DO.
Six kinds of work. Same team on all of them.
SERVER ROOMS & DATACENTRES
Nobody looks at the server room while it's working. Power, racks, cooling, who has a key. Then there's a new hire, or a lease, or new hardware that won't fit, and it all comes up at once. We go through what's actually in there and work out whether the fix is this room, a bigger one, or the datacentre.
A BIGGER SERVER ROOM NOW, THE DATACENTRE WHEN IT COUNTS
A post house ready to sign for datacentre space. The numbers said not yet. We grew the server room instead and set the trigger for later.
BUILD FARMS
A build system that works is easy to leave alone, right up until it isn't. We go through what you've got with the people who run it, work out what it actually needs, and help you get it: spec, hardware, the order to do it in. Your team ends up running something they understand.
FROM TWO-HOUR BUILDS TO MINUTES
A cross-platform studio, losing afternoons to the build queue. We designed and built them a farm. The queue stopped being a topic.
MEDIA STORAGE
Storage for media has two jobs: fast enough for playback across the room, big enough that nobody deletes the archive to make space. Most systems do one. We work out which one yours is doing, size the other against your library and where it's heading, and help you get there.
ON-PREM AI
The cloud made sense until the workloads got steady. Once the GPU bill is predictable, owning the hardware usually wins. We run the numbers against your actual cloud spend first, then spec what the math supports: GPU servers, and the storage and networking underneath them.
INFRASTRUCTURE CONSULTING
Infrastructure assessments, network planning, office moves. And the second opinion before you commit: when there's a large capital plan or a technology direction on the table and it isn't your team's home turf.
FRACTIONAL CTO
The infrastructure decisions don't stop when the project ends. Most companies aren't big enough to hire someone senior to own them. That's the gap we fill: someone to reach out to when the next infrastructure decision comes up.
